hee, just scaring myself for fun lah. Anyway, care to share more thoughts about the bookfest under the ‘Bookfairs’ thread? (Under happenings)

Did share a bit but not sure if its useful, its my first bookfest in a while and so hard for me to compare with last year’s. And I did not get to see much, thought I could go back but my kids and their cousins want me to bring them to catch a movie…majority wins. May go back on sunday.

My son next year P2 is at eastgate, will be joining Sat class 1:00pm. Wanted to let him join weekday afternoon class. He signed up for Wed afternoon class initially but was asked to move to Sat as he is the only one for Wed. Anyone keen? just need 2 more and they can start the class.

i didnt sign for any holiday course in the end. need to do a placement test, which i forgot to bring him there last weekend.

Hi parents, I came across this site selling model compo. The sample of their creative writing looks quite good. Anyone want to share- we can save on economies of scale. Eg. 3 people share one set of original $30, with 2 Photocopies.

anyway to improve the standard of English , here is a free link that helps

i print out the worksheets and let students listen ! they would be exposed to the proper pronunciation.

Do note that while learning a language is what they do , they naturally acquire the language when u speak it. So if u speak Singlish , they pick up Singlish

not trying to put down the site but what is the use of showing the end product if they don't teach you how to structure and compose ?

the comments @ the side seems to be useful , if you already understood the concept
