                Can somebody help?

The cost of 7 erasers and 3 rulers is $5.05
The cost of 2 erasers and 7 rulers is $3.95
Find cost of 2 erasers and 2 rulers.

                  Should the qn be 3erasersn 7 rulers=3.95

                  Then u simply add to get 10erasers n 10rulers=9.00
                  So 1 eraser n 1 ruler=0.90

If based on qn post the kid must know how to multiply decimal number n division of double digit number, at this point of time, the skill requirement is too much for p3 kid to handle.... Cheers

Oh really? Is 3 erasers and 7 rulers…

The answer given was $2, so there’s typo error in the test paper?

Hi, sorry to trouble all of you again and need your help to solve this question.

Dave has 11 times as much as Oscar. Calvin and Dave have $172. Calvin and Oscar have $92. How much does Calvin have?

Solving for fun (below is the way I train my own kids).
