Amy and Betty shared 200 cookies. After Amy ate 30 cookies and Betty baked another 28 cookies, they had the same number of cookies. How many cookies did Betty have at first?

Nathan had 12kg of rice at first. He gave 1/4 of his rice to his mother. Then he gave 2/3 kg of his rice to a Neighbour. How much rice has he left?

I ended up 2 different answers. Is the answer 1kg or 3kg? Kindly advice.

                    Hi,

In this case, the answer is 1kg.

The answer would be 3kg if \"he gave 2/3 of the remainder to his neighbor\".

                    Regards
