OnSponge Maths - Discussion

I have thought of sending my kid to this OnSponge Maths Jun Hol workshop. Can those parents whose kids have attended this workshop before please share your experience and if your kid has improved after the workshop?
I heard they also have Maths tuition. Can parents with kids attending their tuition please share if it is effective as well? Thanks in advance. -

My dd had attended their workshop last December 09. That workshop was aimed to prepare the students for their next level in 2010. DD liked the workshop and she is attending again this coming June. I notice she would refer the file notes when come across any similar problem and she also can mention some term like Constant Different, Equal Fraction etc. Since dd is not having any tutition, I think by attending workshop should benefit her. -
Thanks, Brenda, for your feedback. Iām still considering if should sign DS up for this Jun or wait till Dec.

Hi,
Has anyone here ever sent your child to the onsponge conquer+hinking maths workshop during the holidays? How did you find it? Care to share your experiences? Thanks.
There's a 2 day maths workshop in Nov/Dec to prepare kids for 2011. Contemplating on sending DD.

I have not had personal experience, but my colleague did and she said it was very good for the better students (her kid was getting a high A), and it helped her DD to be able to solve questions even when they were asked in different ways. -

Hi Brenda,
You mentioned in another thread that your DD's sch is doing onsponge maths. Were you referring to the assessment book that they're selling on their website? Does the workshop reinforce what's in the book? Tks
Good luck to you dd with her paper 1 :celebrate:
