        coolbaby:
Anyone has any feedback about woodlands branch? currently ds2 is with private tutor but I realised she is too lenient so ds2 is taking advantage 😞

Thus, I'm thinking of enrolling him to enrichment classes.

Checking Han website and realise they have the following programme:
        - Enrichment, 1.5 hrs per session P1 to Sec 4
        - Walking with Textbook, 1.5 hrs per session\tP1 to Sec 4
        - Composition and Comprehension Course, 2 hrs per session\tP3 to Sec 4

Do you know what's the difference for Enrichment and Walking with Textbook? I suppose most sign up for Enrichment?

Looking forward to hearing your feedback.
i just went to check on the woodlands branch...
thinking \"walking with textbook\" is more for Mixed Ability students like my son.... (Band 3)
\"enrichment\" more for High Ability students ba...

me also wished to gather more feedback on the woodlands centre before committing..

Hi, besides Han Language Centre, are there any good Chinese Language centre in the West? I am looking for tutors who are current or ex school teachers.

            Hi

Anyone has enrolled their kids to Han in Harbourfront or United Square?
Would you mind sharing comments and feedback on the teachers and program compared to other Chinese enrichment centres like TienHsia and Berries?
I am looking to enrol my children into K1 and P1 classes next year and am in a dilemma. Any help would be appreciated!!

Thank you very much for your feedback!

I am thinking of enrolling my DS who is going P2 next year, with Hans at Tampines North CC. Is Han’s method like Jiang LaoShi or Berries? Can any parent share her experience about the teachers?

U mean the writing cum compreh class, right?
My DS has been with them since last year, he is P5 now. Altho his compo and compreh din improve tremendously, we noticed he complaint less when asked to do a compo...That is he can start writing without complaining he don't understd the compo title or how to start a compo or how to end the compo etc. At least, he can write the compo all by myself tho' not well written.

He is not attending it at JE branch, he is the one at Teck Whye.

Just see this thread. Here are comments for Han and TH from my experience with both of them.

I sent my boy to TH language school two years ago since his Chinese is really bad. We were very worried about him. He didn’t like Chinese initially so I hope a tuition could help. After some months in TH, he didn’t get big improvement so we considered to switch. A friend recommended me to Han to try our luck. After one term in Han, we found that he still doesn’t speak a lot in Chinese but he likes reading Chinese fairy books borrowed from Han! He also told me he likes the tutor who is very skillful and make him happy and confident to learn. I once talked with the tutor and she told me Chinese is not that hard and interest is the best teacher especially when the child is at his early age. Actually, I can’t agree anymore. In Han, I did see my son’s change which makes me rather released. Now I have sent my daughter to Han again and discounting price. I think we will continue if nothing unhappy happens.
