        Hi!

For the Gepper DSA interview at RGS, does my gal need to bring the copy of doc for verification?

        tx

        Herbie,

I've called RGS and they informed that they do not require the original document for verification. The gals are also not require to bring any portfolio too.

        Thanks! Superksmum.

Don't think so since certified true copies of transcripts were submitted at point of application. My DD didn't bring but saw someone bring. Interviewers didn't ask for docs. Hope this helps.

            Tx sautille!

                Essential

The question can be anything under the sun. However, maybe you can prepare your DS/DD for general questions like
                a) Why choose the school
                b) how many school ur child DSA to
                c) If selected, which sch will ur child select
                d) His/her hobbies
                e) His/her favourite subject
                d) DSA School Motto

Yes leeven many of our children had DSA in RGS/RI/NUSH then Prelims Oral. My DD even had to go for DSA + Prelims Oral + Tuition. Felt so bad for her but no choice. It was so stressful for the parents too to rush them one after the other.

DD was so worn out too. Said both were tough :xedfingers: , well she is not so good in MT.

:grphug: and we start doing count down and wait for results . I belive in if some thing is for you then it is always for you , no body can take it.[/quote]leeven,

while we start counting down & wait... our necks will start to grow.. like many last year parents.... :rotflmao:

DS is feeling impatient that why he needs to be drilled again and again on those practice papers. Asked why can't they allow GEPpers tobe exempted from PSLE if they have achieved above 80% in the GE exam? Got to be tied down for two more over months before he can really move on.

DS used to ask the same.. but I pose the following question to him - then what about GEPers who do obtained marks of 80% and below? Should they get disqualified? What about the mainstreamers who achieve 80% and above? I tell DS that being a GEPer does not necessary guarantee success and he still needs to work hard. Overall development is important.

I know exactly what you mean. My dd is so sick of working on exam papers that she's mentally switching off. Dun know how she can tahan until PSLE... 😓
