Better to do it one shot with the P6 SA1 Results, Else U'll Have to Run to the Sch Admin More than Once
Thks Jtoh. In this case, better to prepare a few sets for the school to certify during school holiday. The admin staff will be busy with this then.yukilei:

Depends on the school you're applying for. Some schools only require you to submit an online application and when you're called up for the next stage, you'll be required to bring your original certs for verification by the staff. Some schools request that you send in certified hard copies of your certs. Usually it's a good practice to get the school to certify your important documents like your school results and important competition results and have these on standby.
Once again, thks for the info
Wll do. Reserving all my leaves for this DSA thingy. So, must make use of leaves fully.

You can go and watch them on the actual SYF day. For Primary school SYF, so far don't need any tickets. Just go earlier. In reality, how good the child itself is is more important than the whole school's DSA results. The whole band or orchestra cannot be dependant on your child wat. My boy did SYF with Gold(Honours) one year and SIlver one year. But like I said, he or even a few members alone cannot guarantee that the whole group does extremely well, right? It's a team effort.underthesea:
My dd has only 1 week to prepare for SA1 as Chinese Orchestra is at the end of April!! I also don't know who to get her to do revision.
Yah, I heard Chinese orchestra SYF is pretty late and near to SA1. My kids' SYF will be on 12th April. They spent most of the march hols in school. This week, they have to spend 4 days on the CCA to prepare for SYF. I am hoping to see their SYF performance and actually feeling jittery if they can upkeep the school's track record. This is afterall important for DSA.
In any case, I suppose they will have to utilise sat and sun for revision then. -
Save your leave for the submission of forms, tests and interviews. The tests will likely be held on Saturday so you might not need to take leave then.

I only took time off during the actual PSLE. Praying in school while they take their exams! -

Good moral support is so important. :rahrah:
Actually it's only to make ourselves feel better. LOL. Every year, there will be parents who gather during the time when the boys take their exams and pray for every single boy in the name list. On the last day of HCL paper - not as many to pray for.phankao:

Not as many parents showing up to pray? Bec their kids don't take HCL?

Not fewer parents, but shorter name list to pray for, so can finish praying on each name and go through the whole list much faster than the earlier 4 days.
