Just heard from DS that 2 of his classmates who score > 80% was given WL1 from HCI. Looks like HCI does not really look at % but rather base on response test & interview.


I remember some parents asked before whether does interview plays a part in selection, I believe it is so.

For HCI WL1 is as good as CO.

DS classmate also told RI his first choice was not RI when asked during the interview, so he got WL with RI also. RI thanked him for the honesty but did not reject him totally, still give him a \"second chance\" in case he change his mind.

I guess whether WL is as good as CO very much depend on demand. HCI's intake for Geppers is lesser than RI, 3 classes vs 7 classes?? If the demand for HCI is high this year, then WL will be more competitive.

My DD just received CO from SCGS for DSA-IP, so I’m over the moon! They don’t seem to have tea invitation or any such meeting for parents that has been mentioned for some other schools.
