Best to check the MOE website. They will have the most up to date info.

I've checked but they're still showing 2011 info. No updates yet.
Thanks -

Just use that as a gauge first. They usually release results etc at the same time every year, ie a particular week day of a particular week. (I can't recall what now). But MOE will not give you the exact date for the PSLE results until later bec they want to give themselves a buffer in case there's a delay in marking.jtoh:

Hi I am confused which school to apply DSA
Is science and Technology good school, please suggest about the topschools (boys)thanks -
PSLE result release date is usually the last thursday in november. followed by S1 option exercise date for a few days (online).
S1 posting result is out usually around Dec 22, followed by the S1 registration / reporting to sec school the next day. -

hi jtoh, was your friend's dd applying for Dance / Visual Arts?
No need. In fact my friend's dd who did it pretty pretty was shocked to realize that SOTA just tore it apart and kept the relevant portions.Ragamuffin shinobi:
Oooh! Thanks funx3! :rahrah:
But no need to make it look like scrapbook right? Like pretty pretty type?

Do you know how to prepare a portfolio book? I am thinking to stuff all the certificates and school reports in one clear-fold. Don’t know whether it is right way?

here is the very kiasu way of the portfolio
compile all the academic records and summarise them on a cover page in one section
compile all the academic competitions awards in one section and summarise them with a cover page
compile all the CCA awards / certs in one section with a cover page, those without certs but with trophies - take photos of the trophies and include them
also include teachers' recommendation, testimonial, photos of project / artwork where applicable,
include any international / cip awards etc
print out the online DSA submission and put on top
organise the compilation with section dividers and a content page
select a nice cover and sent for binding into a book and hand deliver to the school
yes, very kiasu hor.... :siam: -

I LIKE!
Thought it sounds tedious and very KS, it makes a huge difference when we receive such portfolios.
I know of students who make multiple copies (for artwork, they take a picture and do a write up with it on A4 paper for easy filing).
Do get you kid involved in the preparation too. Gives them a sense of achievement and experience on being organised and presentable.
