Dear parents,
please help with your feedback as I have been worry over this since a few days back.
My child has a confirmed offer from NY Girl School and a Provisional Offer from Raffles. The Raffles one she must obtained at least 235. She is Sports DSA.
She likes Raffles very much but I very worry that she cannot get 235 - then how if she can’t get in ?
I tell her to go for NY Girls School but she not keen.
What do you think ? -

Congrats!
It’s great to receive a CO from the top girls school thru sports, but if a child enters the school with a cop much lower than the required academic cop, will the child struggle much while in school to catch up with her school mates, coupled with the pressure to perform well in the sports? -

I confirm twice with Raffles. They said no confirm offer , it’s provisional offer with conditions. It’s at least 235 , can be higher if their COP is higher.
She normally gets 70s in school. Is that safe to get 235.
My hubby and I like NY Girls school, dunno what’s wrong with this girl. -

Put RGS as your first choice and NYGH as your second choice on the acceptance form. If she scores >235, she will be allocated RGS. If not, she goes to NYGH. In the meantime, tell her to study hard so that she can gain admittance to RGS. jiayou!!!Dear parents,

In fact I think it's good that she knows what she wants. Encourage her to work hard for that 235. If she really wants to go to RGS, it'll give her the push to put in the extra effort to score well. Like I said in an earlier post, put RGS as your first choice in the options form and NYGH as second choice.
