:congrats: musetteCongrats to everyone who were successful in their DSA application!!
To me, making the choice between RGS and NYGH is more difficult than the DSA process itself.
Now which one to choose? -

Congrats to everyone who were successful in their DSA application!!
My DD is unsuccessful in NYGH DSA.
Now we need to working hard to get in through PSLE.
Very curious how good can be successed in DSA application?
Hi new_ Julie,
Sorry to hear about this.
Please tell your dd that she needs to work hard at PSLE for her dream.
The same happened to us when rejected by rgs but don't let this affect your dd.
Forget it and move on, PSLE awaits.
All the best. -
Hi
My DD got waiting list in NYGS . Anyone knows what are usually the chances of getting in for waiting list ? -
ks2011:
Also know of a friend's DS who gave up CO to another gd sch and got into his dream school based on PSLE result. His PSLE score turned out to be the same as the COP though. They considered prelim results and how their DS thought he did in PSLE. It's a very difficult decision to make and my heart goes out to you. All the best to you and your DD.isetan:
DD got co from Cedar but rejected by NYGH. DD says she may drop the offer from cedar and pursuit the PSLE route to NYGH. I am against the idea as in the end may end up ä¸€æ— æ‰€æœ‰. Any opinions from all ksp.?
You need to decide. We faced a similar situation last year. She got CO from another very good school B but my girl's heart was set on going to school A. Finally we didnt take up the CO and waited for PSLE since I felt she had performed well (just felt but not sure). She got into school A. -
:congrats: to all who recently received CO and WL from NYGH, HCI and other schools. :boogie: :rahrah:
To all who were unsuccessful, here's a :grphug:
To those who are still waiting, all the best :xedfingers:
Let's encourage our DCs to work hard for the PSLE. Wow, it's less than a month away! -
:congrats:
MotherHen:
Just logged in to the NYGH DSA website. DD has received a CO.
DD is in school now. Can't wait to share the good news with her
:congrats: to all DCs and parents with CO/WL, and a big thank you to all ksps for sharing information and for making this nail-biting DSA process a fun one. Let's all åŠ æ²¹ now for PSLE! -

:congrats: to Neko and musette too! Yes, another one with this Happy ProblemCongrats to everyone who were successful in their DSA application!!

Let your DD decide. Let her go to school one more time to see and feel, pray for right choice!

SO sorry New Julie, yes, there is still PSLE. a handful top students from my DD's school didn't apply for DSA at all, as they are doing their best for PSLE. I think DSA is looking for special talents on certain areas. Don't be discourage by DSA, instead, chiong for PSLE. Wish your DD the very best for her PSLE and get into her dream school. :snuggles:Congrats to everyone who were successful in their DSA application!!

hahaha, snow Crystal, what an illustration. there is another thread comparing both schools. Oh yes, found it:
Good headache you have there.musette:

Now which one to choose?
One is fish and chips, the other is xiao long bao.
One is Angelina Jolie, the other is Gong Li.
Depends on your DD and what culture you want your DD to be immersed.
It's subjective, you go read the two school threads plus another thread RGS vs NYGH ...all the best to a wise decision. :boogie:
