Orientation for sec one normally starts in first week of term one
the registration day (day after S1 posting result) is usually a short day for admin matters like buying books and uniform, forms filling like giro for school fees etc
for those we are confirmed on the sec school, they can buy the uniform even before the year ends - short / no queue, etc
for books, you need the official booklist given out at registration day, though most books do not change from previous year -

Has anyone received email or letter from SST? Their website said we will receive notification by post by end of August and tomorrow is 31st Aug.

Hi UYT, It is good to be around during the reporting day. The principal would give a speech to the parent. Your DD would be given some forms for you to bring home to read and sign. School will be selling books and uniform. There are some sizes that would run out for uniform unless you start buying them in advance :evil:
