Moonee : the letter from NJC stated that you must still be eligible to attend a course offered in our school based on PSLE . What does this sentence means ? Certain COP?

Sounds like the standard letter of Offer. The same sentence was in my ds' letter when he applied for DSA with NJC in 2009 (his p6 year).

I emailed and called the school about this. They replied my email saying that it means that the student has to be eligible for Express Stream, which means minimum PSLE score of 200.

If you don't feel comforted, email or call them to clarify.

And they are the only girls school offering a broad based IB program which in my opinion is more internationalized than A levels. This was my thot but dd wasn't convinced.

Congrats to all the happy papa, mamas, ds and DDs who had good news this week. For those who have been less fortunate, there is the PSLE! Ur DS and DDs are much more capable than we give them credit so m sure they will have their dreams fulfilled post psle.

Snail Mail from MGS finally arrived.... DD and I had given up that dsa as a lost cause. But surprisingly... She has a CO. :hi5:

However... Need your help to decipher MGS dsa offer. She had rejected the Sports School CO, received CO from RGS. The MGS offer is Dsa Sports O levels... Guess she did not make the cut for the IB as we ticked both dsa options. DD thinks that if her psle marks are good, she may still be able to get into MGS IB program through the psle posting. I thought they only had 2 IB classes next year and all of the slots would be filled through dsa? Does anyone know if MGS has set aside any IB slots for psle posting? 🤷
                    :?

                    Thanks

At the MGS open day, they said there are 60 IB places with up to half going to DSA so there will be at least 50% available at psle posting.
