How do prepare for DSA interview? My DS is applying for RI...very worry about the interview...

NewKSmum:
According to my ds, it was 20 mins for 60 questions and he could not manage to finish all. Just merely able to complete 48 questions.
Thanks, my ds is applying through music, still waiting for GAT date to be informed. -

Wow, 48 questions out of 60 is already very good.
Dividing 20 mins by 60 questions, one can only afford around 20 seconds to answer a question. Assuming, reading takes 5 seconds, shading takes 5 seconds, a student would only have 10 seconds to derive the answer.
How many kids can really do that especially if its a logic question they are seeing for the first time? @.@ -

Good analysis. Is the test to check the intelligency or an elimination process?NewKSmum:

since it is non-verbal, less time is needed to answer. either you know or you don't know about the logic -

RI?? For RI, isn't the GAT for music AFTER they shortlist from the music test?NewKSmum:

\" All applicants to go for an Audition/Practical Selection Test. Shortlisted applicants will be required to sit for the GAT \" -
Thanks phankao, seems have to go for Audition first. But heard from my ds violin teacher that only those pass the GAT can go for audition. Have to clarify with RI.
