        tamarind:
I dislike shopping local shops, expensive and not value for money. I bought all my kids' clothes from overseas websites like

I usually buy when there are discounts. I normally pay less than SGD20 for each piece of clothing, and the quality is excellent. I join sprees so the shipping is quite cheap.

Recently I bought some polo shirts from the Ralph Lauren website :

        http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3950816

Each shirt is less than SGD20 including shipping, very good value !
In fact, most clothes that I wear are also bought from US websites šŸ˜‰

It is so much more convenient to shop online, if I were to Orchard Road to shop, I could pay more than $40 taxi fare, or spend 2 hours on the MRT.
Thanks for the links, Tamarind. I like the Polo Ralph for boys.

          Yah, hate crowds too.

DS isn't fussy, like most boys. He has a lot of holiday resort T- shirts from all over cos it's so convenient to buy.

Otherwise, it Kingkow cos theres no crowd.

I hate to go shopping now...the thought of having to put up with the crowds put me off. My son isn't fussy but he does like Bossini for casual wear...very comfy since 100% and not expensive. However, I buy polo shirts for him now that he's bigger...looks more 大方.

You may want to try \"This fashion\" for your teenage dds. They do carry some kinky clothings suitable for them though you may have to spend time to search.

I find This fasion cloth not so good... I mean the quality is not there.. after 2-3 washes it looks as if so old oredi 😐
I prefer good quality for kids since they dirty easily and have to wash quite frequently šŸ˜‰

This Fashion clothes designs are not nice...quality is no better. I buy my kids' tees from Esprit & Bossini outlets.

Ds1 is very particular about clothes for going out. He esp likes the tailored shirts from Zara and GAP.

I find it hard to buy reasonably priced and good quality T-shirts which are not too colourful or hv loud prints for my boys.

On our last Taiwan trip, I bou 5-6 T-shirts from a dept store with discounts for my #2. 100% cotton and shape does not distort after washing.

My elder boy is now wearing those I bou at least 2 years ago. He will soon need new ones as these seem a little short now. He is the fussy one- no loud colours/designs, no kiddy design, no sewn on prints.

Recently I was in Bangkok so bought a lot of polo Ts for DS. Quality not too bad though not authentic, but he doesn't mind as long as it is polo Ts (DS prefers polo T to round collared T). Also bought quite a few cotton dresses for DD - very nice floral prints they have and good quality 100% cotton material too - not too wrinkled if hand-wash and hang to dry (so no need to iron  ). Was in Jakarta earlier also bought DS long and 3/4 pants. Price and quality much cheaper and better.

In Singapore, children clothes are too expensive and the cheap ones do not have the quality or style. Much better to stretch the dollar and get from abroad when you travel. Actually can do the once-a-year stock up!
