          Minister for Finance, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, will deliver the FY2011 Budget Statement in Parliament on 18 February 2011, 3.30pm.               "we will raise the employer contribution rate by another 0.5 percentage points, from 15.5% to 16%, which will restore the total contribution rate to 36%. The additional 0.5% will go into the Special Account."

              "We will also revise the CPF Salary Ceiling from $4,500 to $5,000 per month to keep pace with income growth in recent years."

              Growth Dividend of $600 - $800.

                Some that I heard on the news :


                1) Radio and tv license will be removed permanently :celebrate:
                2) 20% tax rebate (cap at S2k)
                3) Tax rate for middle income should drop by 4-20% (depending on your income bracket)
                4) Employer CPF contribution will increase by 0.5% to 16%.
                5) CPF income ceiling raised to S$5k.
                5) Child development credit for each child aged 6 and below - Family will receive between $300 - $400 for each child.
