      h3m:
      Hi, for tomorrow registration,

Can we park the car inside the school?
Where/Which is the nearest public parking lot?

      TIA for any reply.
Well, i do usually park within the school premises for my DD school event that i've attended. It could be parallel parking that stretches all the way to the other school exit. Suggest you come early πŸ™‚

        Hi All,

I just want to find out if there are school bus for Crescent girls students?

        TIA
I believe they still do, and it probably depends on where you stay and demand.
My DD takes school bus to school for the last 3 years at least.

If my memory didn't fail me, the bus company did set up a booth during the registration day then.
        Keep a look out tomorrow.

Principal is vibrant and passionate about education. Focus more than academic.

I hope the Principal still stay with them for a couple more years. She is such a interesting lady and I always found her session entertaining. There was some school events the other day so as usual, car parking was haywire. She was walking to probably her car (as her lot was taken by some parent). There was this parent who was trying to get out of their lot and she actually stopped and helped to direct him out without hitting other cars. This goes to show the kind of person she is. She is also very friendly and approachable. Never forget to flash her smile when you see her in school.

Totally agreed , MMM , really hope she will stay until my gal finishes her O'levels :xedfingers: :xedfingers:

In the orientation, i think they will usually advise what to bring? Saw that they have orientation information in website as well. Maybe you might want to check that out.

                First Day of School

The academic year starts on 4 January 2016. Students are to report in half-uniform (PE t-shirt and school skirt) to the Parade Square at 7:00am. They are to also bring their PE Shorts and photocopies of documents as proof of citizenship and submit Handout B and the Reply Slip for Parents’ Seminar to their Form Teacher.

                      Hi all,

My daughter will be joining CGS family next monday and she is very excited about it. Hence, I would like to seek your opinion on which optional items will be useful for a secondary 1 student. In addition, is her current Casio calculator FX 96sg+ suffice for the secondary maths subject?

                      Thanks & Regards

Hi AT, you would like to know that SEAB has listed a set of approved calculators in their site. Your DD's Casio is still valid for use. In fact, many primary school kids have been asked to buy that Casio model. So it should be fine.
