Hi

If any parents need their kids to be coached, let me know. My website is extreme-power.org

Do share it.

Where do you conduct training? Anything around Marine Parade, Siglap or Bedok? If not, any class you can recommend for my P6 son? He’s intermediate.

Thanks.

I am looking for badminton group lessons for my P6 son. Any class to recommend convenient for East Coast Road / Marine Parade / Siglap areas?

He attended Saturday lessons at his school last year but the class closed.

TIA
What are the advantages (if any) and how does it work?

Looking forward to some advices.

:thankyou:

you get 2 bonus points which is equivalent to two A1s

this year, a mother wrote to the straits times forum complaining that her 6 A1s (including English) child cannot get into VJC.
6 pts does not qualify because you need to get bonus points from elsewhere (the lower the better):

i. 2 pts for affiliated sec sch
ii. 2 pts for CCA (A grade), 1 pt for CCA (B or C grade)
iii. 2 pts for taking Higher Mother tongue
(you can only get max of 4 points from the above 6 pts)

so if the child get 6 pts, he can minus 4 pts if he has the above, which will bring it down to 2 pts.

Thank you very much for your much needed advice!
Not to mention your detailed explanation!
Greatly appreciate.

:thankyou:
Is the above information still true? Can you still get 2 bonus points by applying to affiliated JC?

Hi,

Do you have the website to the following schools?
Sintec badminton
Bai song badminton
Li Ning badminton academy

fristrom:

Suggest you google to find the contact of the following badminton schools:

Flymax badminton
Sintec badminton
Bai song badminton
Li Ning badminton academy

They operate at different parts of Singapore eg. Flymax at tampines and hougang, and find one that is convinent for you. Cost for group coaching is about $80-100 a month, one coach to about 6-8 kids, for 2 hrs.

Found this list. I live around Katong/Marine Parade area. Anyone have comments or went to training at Bai Song Badminton? Seems they offer some trainings at Singapore Badminton Hall in Geylang/Aljunied area.

Is this suitable to advance skills for my son who's playing for school team and needs to further improve skills? Currently only twice per week training at school.

Appreciate any advice for my P5 son. Thanks in advance!! πŸ™‚

• RE: Singapore Chinese Girls School (Secondary)

Anyone know how many Sec1 classes there are at SCGS?

How many for IP program?
How many for O-level program?
And what is the class size?

...trying to gauge chances of getting accepted there because last year's cut off point is two pts below my daughter's score and never know if the COP may go up. Between SCGS and a government school w same COP.
I heard govt school has more classes than independent. Anyone confirm that?

Thx for any feedback w above questions. πŸ™‚
