Me too. Looking for feedback. The school didn’t have any open house I think. Wondering how their acad focus is like

Hi! Here at Deyi, we use the Flipped Classroom module meaning our classes are modulated to make sure most of our work is done in school and time at home can be used for revision! This means we have less classes at a time, e.g. we take Lit for semester 1 and Geog semester 2 instead of taking both at the same time! We still go through the same syllabus as other schools though 🙂 Teachers are always ready to give us consultations or extra help if we need it and we usually do pretty well! Our O level & N level average is higher than the nat. average too!
We still get a pretty healthy dose of the arts being a Centre Of The Performing Arts school and there're tons of fun programs for us involving art, whether performance or visual!
Overall, Deyi is a great school 🙂 Hope this helps! 😄

And interested to know the level of discipline

Our school is actually pretty strict despite all the rumours of still being a gangster school :scared:
Attire check is conducted every day, we emphasise a lot on punctuality and we do CWO in place of regular detention and it tends to work pretty well.

Is this still a gangster school?

This is one of our choices bec of her score but shes been bullied and i dont want her to experience the same.
they do actions when you report bullying?
The teachers helpful or encouraging to those who needs to cope?

                    hi Mycrdr

I believed there is no perfect school, even the top schools have bullies. More importantly, our children need to have the awareness that bullying comes in different forms and to know to step/ speak out.
School support is crucial, i agree.
My child’s teacher recommends Deyi after her former students gives positive feedback about their teachers.

                    Hope this helps…

Thank you for that appreciate it.
I know that there is always bullies but im hoping if there is reported bullying their admins or teachers do some actions about it
So i have peace of mind that they care for the welfare of their students

And also i worry about the gangster comment here
