personally, i don’t quite like that assessment book that i use. it is very brief so not value for money. but the brief notes comes in handy for quick checks such as these and they have quite good tabulation. accuracy-wise i am not sure cos i did not use it extensively. It is Casco green colour.

as for clay, i did a quick check. if you have EPH ultimate guide, the first concept map in that chapter state that clay is under natural.

              smartmummy,
              thanks for correcting me.
see, i told you i cannot recommend the green book. i found the discrepancy from my another more reliable PSLE guide .
this evil green book classify glass under Natural. then the Ultimate guide classify glass under Man-made. this other reliable PSLE guide state glass under man-made. so i go with this third guide.
              stated there Ceramics are man-made.

              sorry for the confusion earlier.
hope some experts can come in to explain. my ds1 not testing on Materials 😓

                    Hi All,
Need your advise on the above P3 question which my DD1's Science T gives as \"standard answer\". Is the answer acceptable?

                    Thanks.

                      Hi,
For the question above, (a) the answer for part X should be \"buds\" or \"central buds\"? And for (b) what is the function of part X?

Again, this is the standard answer given by Science T :scratchhead:
                      :thankyou:

                        Hi

The seed coat protects the internal of a seed during the dormancy period(before germination).

A seed coat offers protection against entry of parasites, mechanical injury and against extreme high or low temperatures. The seed coat also prevents a seed from dehydrating or drying up.

At P3 level, I think the teacher’s answer is good enough. However, you may back up your answer with some of these pointers if you want to have a more complete answer.

                        Best wishes
