I used Z's raisins recipe and just substitued raisins with cranberries. I reduced the cinnamon from 1/2 to 1/4 tsp too because I'm not sure how it'll taste with cranberries. Actually thought of leaving it out, but on 2nd thoughts, decided to have them, coz I love the smell of cinnamon...
Looks good!!!!! What recipe did you use and how much cranberry?Happy Mama:
My Cranberry Loaf.... Yummy!! Thanks to jtoh for her knife recommendation. At last I managed to slice my bread more professionally... but I only managed to slice into 6 slices as I have not acquired the slicing skills yet...
In the first picture, notice how high my loaf has risen...

I used 1/2 cup of cranberries though recipe states 1/4 raisins.

Hmm so must spread evenly and like other member said bout Raisin is either chop them to make smaller or mix in water
No, the rest of our kakis said to put at one spot... but it didnt work for meHappy Mama:
Another thing I notice Happy Mama is that this time your Cranberries have spread quite even what did you do? :?
I did the same as I did with my raisins the first time round i.e. pour them evenly distributed, but maybe because cranberries are lighter, so they even out nicely.
I tried putting raisins at one spot during my 2nd raisin loaf but it didn't work for me. The raisins all went to the sides of the bread i.e. top and sides, so all got burnt.
I realised the cranberries I bought from PH was already halved.
and no I didn't soak in water because I am afraid I cannot gauge the amount of water to reduce, so I followed straight from the recipe. I'm not so adventurous!
Oh yes, I reduced the sugar slightly too. Didn't want it to be too sweet since I increased quantity of cranberries...

Why do you doubt her baking skills? Her loaves have always turned out well.

Cranberry loaf will be ready in 1 hour's time. Smells good. I cannot wait for it to be ready. Yumm yumm! This time I can slice it professionally with my new knife (provided I've got the skills). The lady at Taka told me slicing bread needs θ½»ε·₯.
The kai knife is VERY sharp. Just slice it lightly. Too heavy handed and your loaf will become like ham chin bang. -
