I agreed with Milderine's post on 'if a kid has the ability, all school are the same.' :rahrah:
What matter most are those knowledge learnt in school, true friends made, kids are happy and responsible teachers around.
All school will have a handful of irresponsible teachers here and there(u can't denied that but there are also a lot more great and patience teachers around too), kids will excel in their studies with family supports.
I don't understand why there is this 'rumour' that says 'the standard of MTS has dropped'....
To me, the standard is reasonably high(for a neighbourhood sch).
ps: addressing to simplycho: MTS teaches higher Chinese.
We are glad we have put our kids in MTS, no regrets. :please:
Just my 1 cent worth of comments..

Yah I was wondering who on earth names their kid Gua Gua. Then I saw chinese papers. it's 瓜瓜,the only thing i could think of is maybe they wanted it to be like 顶呱呱. but it's such a bizzare mandarin name.auntieM:
Bo's fate like his son's name - qua qua (dying)..
Now really gua1 gua2... everyone looking at them and laughing. Although i find it quite strange that Gua Gua gets protected by US Homeland Security. They really believe his family is being politically persecuted, when it could totally true that they are corrupt murderers. -

I bought the severin bread machine :please: a year ago(think am the only 1 who bought S bread machine)..and am still baking yummy bread almost every weekends. have tried pumpkin bread, KouQiZi bread(wolfberries), sweet potatoes bread, BakHu with hazel nut bread :scared:, pitachio nuts with seaweed :siao: etc...so far so good, no complaint from family and friends yet
I find it quite yummy when nuts are added. my DS is more then happy to use his toy hammer to crash the pack of nuts for me
Don't hesitate, go and buy the lovely cute z machine!
Welcome to the breadmaking club! :rahrah: :rahrah: :boogie:
Oiiiii TWINKLEJOY *calling out excitedly*
Miss you :hugs:
Waaaaaah , you certainly have been experimenting :salute:
Can share your pistachio and seaweed recipe?? :please:
Nah...we love bread so we are trying all means to experiment all kinds of 'exotic' breads(that we can't find from stores) even my mum helps to contribute on those wierd combination ingredient ideas
I'm using z recipes for my s machine  z's recipes are more user
friendly(all measurements are in cups, tsp and tbsp instd of s's recipes, all in gramsabit mafan)
I m sticking to the basic white bread's recipes :boogie: , add on the ingredient when hears the 'beep beep beep'. Will adjust the water from 2/3 cups to 1/3 cups if the ingredient used was wet. Eg, apple, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, strawberries etc.
I used a pack(abt 70g bah) of pistachio and a small pack of korean
seaweed. if you really like seaweed, I suggest to use at least 2 packs as we couldn't taste the seaweed at all when 1 pkt was used.
Hope to see you around here from time to time
 I will try :salute:
sorry..abit :offtopic:

Korean seaweeds? I have loads of them at home but all salted! Can use the salted type? And do you cut them into smaller bits? How big?
Hello Busymom,
I'm not sure whether using salted seaweed will affect the bread texture or not...but if you like seaweed, think shouldn't hv any problem bah  . Just remember to reduce the salt input. No need to cut the seaweed, just get your kids to tear them into small small pieces will do. I'm sure they will enjoy the breadmaking process and the parent-child bonding too :snuggles:
