I tried baking cheese cake using the oven. It came out flat! 😒 Reason because I didn't buy a good mixer and it couldn't beat so well. My friends paid almost S$1000 for their mixer which I wasn't willing to invest in. See, even my cheap mixer has become a white elephant for almost 2 years. πŸ˜‰

I have a cheap mixer and I bake cakes fine. πŸ™‚

Hmmm, so it's the baker, not the \"tools\" huh? πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰
Ya, I have a hand held mixer that I use for the cupcakes and cake and so far its been okie....

Think DH will petition for divorce if I suggest that I need a mixer that'll cost $1000 :faint: Though I know some cost ard $500 to 700.

Maybe the power plug \"kaput\" when it started baking stage. Kneading doesn't consume a lot of power, but at baking stage, the hot element started to work and consume lots of power. If the cable wire at the plug was loose, it might happen πŸ˜„

Since everybody are waiting for the 'doctor's report', I'm waiting for the bread then πŸ˜„ πŸ™

Hmmm .... sounds like there is a possibility here .... but the problem is S has its own agent here, while my B is Carrefour's house brand, so finding a 'doctor' to 'cure' my B would be a problem, but if it's just the plug, then maybe I can get someone to check it out, and that's why I said I am waiting for Twins' 'doctor's report'. πŸ˜‰

Hooray!! I just received a call from the \"doctor\", and it's really due to moisture buildup in the plug. They have tested it and heated it for 3 hours and the power didn't trip!!

So everyone, pls don't throw out your un-used breakmaker until you're sure it's really gone \"kaput\"!

                  Soooooo happy!!
