Thank you twinklejoy  :hugs::imanisland: hi bread kakis!!
hey autumnbronze, I like your banana walnut bread! still can see the chunky banana pieces. looks yumm yumm! :celebrate:
I baked banana cake yesterday..family said it tasted more like banana BREAD instd ..
overall, comments received were : not sweet enough for cake but just nice for bread, can't see the banana but can taste and smell it and abit dry.
I used yeast as indicated in S recipe. they don't call it cake but sweet bread wor..so, do u think the yeast was the culprit? :?
must use baking powder for cake is it? sorry for my silly questions..
it indicated as mashed banana mah..so I basically MASHED it lor..
Errrrrrrrrr, I wish I could help you in answering your queries but I am really a novice at this. I haven't even tried baking a cake yet

Sorry, can't help much here. Have never baked a banana cake using the bread machine. My banana cake turns out very well using the oven and yes, baking powder is one of the ingredients in a banana cake.Thank you twinklejoy  :hugs:

:thankyou: Happy Mama  If you see this :heresmyfish:, what does it say about this Maid?
No, not that you get :heresmyfish: for asking after me, but it should be a good sign to say that all's well with the Maid now, right? Yes, feeling SOooooo MUCH better now, not as lousy as I was this afternoon! :celebrate:
Like I always say, Mums or rather Maids like us cannot afford to be sick for long!
It's not in the Standard Operating Procedures for Mummies!
