Hello fellow breadmakers! I haven't baked in a while. That's why I haven't been chatting here for some time. Time to get inspired again. 🙂

      :imanisland: bread kakis

Same here. Think my yeast has gone flat too  :skeptical: Time to talk bread again :imcool:

I think I have to buy a fresh batch of yeast. 😛

        Hi!

Chanced upon this ultra-soft bread recipe, \"Haiji White Bread\" fm CosyBake's blog, (for recipe, u can refer to her blog, ingredients and instructions are v clear) i substituted part of the breadflour with wholemeal flour ... here'r the pics :

        http://i54.tinypic.com/k172bb.jpg\"> http://i52.tinypic.com/vzezaf.jpg\"> http://i53.tinypic.com/29pqgdf.jpg\"> http://i51.tinypic.com/33p7aeb.jpg\">

Very soft and fluffy, i would increase the sugar part for the next bake and omit dusting with flour though ...

            Hi kakis,

            I miss those days too.

Am still baking my normal wholemeal bread. Just yesterday, I baked wholemeal prune bread. Turned out yummy

I still bake regularly but it is the same daily bread I need....nothing innovative..:)

That is why I need the machine to do the job for me like a cookie cutter job....

Can i ask, if i want to bake bread from the oven instead, do i just select dough function from the breadmaker? Once it is done, i just put it in oven? Do i need to proof it further?

L-earner: the bread looks so soft n fluffy. nice. may i know what bread tray you used to bake the bread?

Bread kakis, when you own an appliance, it is best to work it at least 1-2 times a week to keep it in good working order. If your family eat bread daily like mine, don’t waste the machine…teach someone in the house how to dump all the ingredients in, it is easy…

Tks Village Girl! 😄 Yes, this bread is REAL soft n fluffy, gd as a sandwich bread. I used a cake loaf baking pan (1pound) to bake this batch, bec I want a pull-apart version, u can bake in pull-man tin or shape as buns too!

                        @ Dassalo, tks! 😄
