Need advise , booking ktx from Seoul to Busan, if I take their saver (2-5) people travelling it will be 111k each person but if I buy seperately child ticket is only 61k, anyone tried buying separately for children. Which saved quite a bit from 61k to 111k, will that caused searing arrangement issues or I can request to issues ticket together when changing ticket ?

Thks! Aiya missed again .. only Dec holidays can go winter Lor..micollh:
Anyone been to the ice fishing ? Any details to share? end Dec started already ?
Hmm, I doubt so, if you're talking about the Hwacheon Festival or the Pyeongchang Trout Festival in the North? Jan-Feb is the time the lake/river will be frozen hard enough for you to stand on it to fish.

I'd tried to book an ice-fishing outing in Hokkaido for Dec before. At that time, it was also not available in Dec cos apparently the temps were not freezing enough in Dec to enable them to drill a hole thru the lake for u.

Between Seoul vs Hokkaido ice-fishing, I prefer Japan's experience. They set up tents for you and let you BBQ the smelt fish in the cold. Hokkaido's more scenic & tranquil, in contrast to Seoul's ice-fishing sites which are kinda 'industrialised' and crowded like a mega circus.
I read about those onsen in Seoul any to recommend ? Some can stay overnight ?
Where else to go in Seoul during winter ? -
