2nd Hand Book Shop!
-
I use to go to San Bookshop weekly. Then stopped cos shifted and no San bookshop or rental bookshop nearby so went online and rented books from bookcraves.com. They actually deliver and collect so very convenient. But their titles are limited and I found a San bookshop at Jurong pt which I have to go every week so back to renting from them again. Now stop again since I have my kindle & ipad.
I digress a bit. When in my teens to early 20s one of my dream was to open a cosy bookstore cum bistro. Still dreaming. -

Haha, indeed very surprised to find two other forummers here who used to patronise that tiny shop, :celebrate: yes, Enid Blyton, Famous Five .... miss those good old days, so cheap and so good!
Nostalgia hor? Me too......my dad would drive up the curved ramp to the second storey carpark above NTUC. No internet then, wonder how word got around.
Oh my, >30 years ago  -
Us SJI boys used to visit those bookshops along Bras Basah Rd in the old days (early 80s) for all those \"interesting\" books (ahem).
There was usually a better selection when the US Navy came to town .....
