No, you can't bid for more than what you have. So to say, your max bid would be what you have in the kitty. Once you use up you max points, you just have to grab a chair, sit back and relax and watch the show, but you will still get to share the winning bids if you have participated in the auction. And that's why I said, with 3K+ points, you won't be able to win anything but can still participate and win share the winning bid.

LKVM 'overbid' once and almost got penalised by Chief, but luckily for her, it was a genuine mistake on her part, so she didn't get penalised.
Oh I see... Ok I will try the next round. You've got to be in it, to understand how it works, I guess. πŸ˜‰ Thanks...

Yes, precisely. You have to take part in at least one to understand how the auction works and to experience the fun of it, but remember you have to register your name first when Chief lists out the items.

Of course you can, but your bid is limited to what you have in the kitty. But after particpating in one auction, you would earn some points by sharing the winning bid with others.

Another way to get 2K KPs is to quicken your way towards your 1st medal. That first medal will give you 2K points, subsequently it's 1K per 1K posts.

Ya, March is too short a holiday for anything. Actually if I were the MOE, I would give 2 weeks in March and September and minus off 1 week each from June and December.
