Bought the new Nespresso U machine and the milk frother thing for DH. He’s the only one who drinks coffee in our family. Bought the crealto as well since I think DH would love the taste of it.
But is seems, the kids are the ones enjoying the gift, making frothy hot chocolate and steamed milk with the hazelnut syrup that was given free with the purchase. At the rate they are going, I think I will have to stock up more fresh milk. -

I was a coffee drinker but had to cut back due to gastric problems. I gave in to temptation and had a cuppa yesterday. When drinking it, oh boy, the bliss but for the rest of the day, it was burp and bloat fest. Think much as I want to taste and savour every blend they have, I will still have to stick to my tea.

Yikes, the machine suddenly had an identity crisis thinking it was a steam engine train! It gave a loud tooooooooot with steam coming out from the capsule slot and the lights started blinking and there was a metallic burning smell. I turned it off, unplugged it and brought it out into the garden holding it like it’s a bomb about to go off.
Called Nespresso service line and they wanted me to turn the thing on and troubleshoot. Told them no sirree, not gonna turn that thing on. It might explode in my face. The guy chuckled and told me to bring it back to the shop where I bought it and get a 1-1 replacement since it is still within 7 days of purchase.
So no coffee for DH these 2 days and gonna get another new machine. -
Funz, that’s scary. It’s a brand new machine? Maybe it’s a factory fault. Good thing it’s still under warranty.

Yah. A bit disappointing. Good thing they allow for 1-1 exchange. Won’t be able to accept it if they tell me they only gonna repair. I made less than 10 cups of coffee out of that machine.
BIL is saying I should sqeeze them for a couple of sleeves of capsules since I have to take the trouble to go to their boutique to get it replaced. Hmmmm… I’m considering… -
I also have one at home but I didn’t know you could make hot chocolate with it!!! Do we need to get the hot chocolate capsule or what!!!
