Go,
I have a four year old and I’m thinking if joining a ballet class will be beneficial for her. I heard some parents saying that it will improve posture. May I know in what way? Do they turn out more demure? -

Maybe because they are always reminded to hold their chin up, straighten their backs, pull their body long.. However, it really depends on the child..Go,

Hi mummies
Is any one join thie rad summer holiday camp? It is fun? -
I am not sure about the other schools but for my kiddos, this is the first time I received this RAD summer camp newsletter. CSTD summer camp is usually the one that we receive every year.

The RAD age requirement for Grade 1 and 2 is 8 years on 1 Jan of the year the kid is taking the ballet exam. DD missed the requirement too, hence she is unable to take her Grade 1 exam. However, DD went through the same coaching class and extra lessons as the rest of her ballet-mates (for Grade 1), hence short of the exam, she is 'ready\" for exams as her friends. She went on to her Grade 2, and just took the ballet exams last month. Her ballet teacher did ask if I am concerned to having the certificate and she can arrange for DD to take Grade 1 and Grade 2 this year. I appreciate her offer but I did not let DD take the Grade 1 as I did not want to stress her to remember so many dance steps. So do not worry about it - just let your DD enjoy the learning process of dancingHi!
need advise for my dd who is now K2 and starting Grade 1 RAD Class.
Her classmates are mostly P1 so when they take Grade 1 exam in April next year, my DD is not eligible due to her age.
So is it ok for her to skip and not take Grade 1 exam and wait for Grade 2 exams? Would it affect if she needs the grades in DSA in future?
im so confused now. She's a June baby so she wont be 'officially' 8 years old and also not eligible to take Grade 2 exam?
thanks!!

Hi Parents
I would like to seek your advise. :?:
My girl attending a ballet class Grade 4, the main teacher was oversea and a coach taking over for a lesson but she did not coaching just asked the students to practice at their own.
In this case, do you think should I ask for a lesson replacement?
I had paid $460 for 11 lessons(as a term)!
So, per lesson is $40 plus for an hour!
And this is what they provide...is this fair to us?
Warmest Regards -

This is indeed unfair to the children. You can try asking for lesson replacement but I doubt there is very much you can do. The School will most likely claim that different teachers have different teaching methods.Hi Parents

DD ballet teacher also asked her senior girls to teach the younger girls ballet on lessons which she cannot make it. But at least the seniors still \"teaches\" the junior, albeit less professionally. As such stands-in are not often, most parents are acceptable. -
