Vocational graded examinations DOES NOT come after the attainment of Graded examinations. Meaning to say, Graded and Vocational Graded Examinations can be taken at the same time.

The Graded syllabus (i.e. Pre-Primary in Dance, Primary in Dance and Grade 1 to 😎 provides a broad practical dance education and develops technical, musical and performance skills

Vocational Graded Examinations (I.e. Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Foundation, Advanced 1, Advanced 2) provide an in-depth study of ballet. This is where girls learnt pointe and becomes closer to real ballerinas 🙂

One can choose after their grade 5 exam to either do grade 6 or start intermediate foundation. There is no need to do both. Really depends on what your girl wants. Some teachers do a year of grade 6 and then if.

                      Can I check:

                      1. Does that mean after grade 5, if we choose to do intermediate foundation, no need to do grades 6 , 7 and 8 anymore?

                      2. Usually how long does it take to clear each vocational grade, a year each is enough training? I mean for :
Intermediate foundation, intermediate, advanced foundation, advanced 1,
                      advanced 2

                      Thanks.

                        1. Yes there's no need to.
                        2. IF and intermediate are 2 years each
