Wow jj1111, not easy to continue to grade 8. My DD stopped at grade 5. May I know which school is she learning and has she been changing school?

Nope she never changed school before. She is with the same teacher all this while. She learned at Sengkang CC.

Does she do Vocational Grades concurrently as well? Not sure if DD wants to do it as I heard pointe is not easy.

Secondary she is too busy with her CCA therefore didn't do it too. She said she will do it after Grade 8 exam.

Depends on respective schools... before SA2, most ballet school start mid to end-Sept.

Wow... DD SA2 starts so early?
As PSLE exams ends 5 October 2016, most schools start their SA2 after the PSLE exams.

Do anyone has some intro of Dance School for Jazz (ATOD) that is in the west side?

does this school teach only Jazz, not RAD ballet grade by grade ?

Apparently her currently dance school change their direction to CSTD and RAD. They dont have any teacher to teach ATOD syllabus. That's why I'm looking for a school that teach ATOD.

it's different way of dancing. My DD is still taking RAD as foundation but she is more of a jazz dancer than classical dancer. CSTD has jazz too but their jazz syllabus is different from ATOD. ATOD jazz is more of a lyrical style whereby CSTD is more of the strong move with lots of energy type. She enjoys ATOD more than CSTD. That's why I would prefer to find ATOD jazz for her. But ATOD isn't popular in Singapore compare to RAD and CSTD.

I want to help my DD to build her passion accordingly to her own characteristics and her styles.
