My dd takes both, just completed Intermediate Foundation Exam in Aug and now preparing for grade 7 where exam will be on next Apr.

Hi, I have problems with pm so I just reply here. My dd is with WingsToWings Dance Development Centre. She took grade 6 last year Apr and Intermediate foundation his year Aug. Based on my dd experience, grade 6 has more components and a longer syllabus where Intermediate foundation focus more on technique and there will be introduction of pointe work. To her grade 6 is harder because there are more exercises.

Hi Sam2kids, thanks for info!!
Your gal is so good to manage
so well!!
May i check how old is your gal?
So she has how many lessons per week?!?
Will it be confusing to prepare for 2 exams
(g6 and intermediate foundation) concurrently?
My gal took g5 RAD this yr..but stopped since jul due to psLe..
Contemplating betw taking g6 exam or intermediate fdn exam, both in April..
Or tAke Grade 6 exam in April 2018,
& then Intermediate Exam in 2019?(teacher say can skip intermediate fdn)
(& the grade 6 tchr+school,is not same as intermediate fdn school:) -
hi cool_hi,
My dd is 13yo. She took grade 6 during Psle year in previous dance school then switched to WingsToWings for Intermediate foundation. She has 3 lesson per week - one on weekday and the other two on weekends back to back. Dd doesn’t feel confused with the syllabus so far, I think is quite common for some school do grade 6 and Interfound together in 2 years. -

Hi All, understand that music and movement come together. Is it necessary to learn music (piano, violin, vocal or other instrument) in order to be a better dancer? Rhythm, timing, beats are important to dancers.
Need advice and views, appreciate it.
Thanks. -
Hi, I’m looking for rad ballet exam prop for grade 2. It’s a flower garland. Please PM me if you have one to let go. Thank you.

Hi parents,
I would like to ask if anyone has any review of these two ballet schools: Centre Stage, and All That Jazz.
Thanks in advance! -
Thanks all for your advice
