Try this? Usually my daughter will bun on her own, but during the graded exams her teacher will help to make sure it is secured.[/quote]
Thanks! Yes finally the teacher helped during exam day to make sure all children are alright. ☺️☺️☺️

Hi has anyone or any of your friends/relatives ever send their children to learning Ballet in StepUp at Safra Punggol before? How’s their instructors like?

I am intending to send my child to try their ballet lessons. Pls share any reviews. Thank you!
My girl was with the school for a few years. If you're only planning to take regular class, exam etc, the teachers there are good. However i would advise against joining their competitive team, the management is not motivated enough to push towards this direction (my personal opinion).

Shall not go into too much negative details. I leave it to parents to explore.

There is no such thing as BEST school, but just schools that each parents can adopt and accept. Feel free to make necessary changes along the dance journey when things do not align anymore.

Any one has reviews of Taneo Dance Academy or anyone’s DD is in jazz dance class? I am looking to expose my girl to Jazz class as she is doing ballet now but somehow I think her flair and interest is in something more upbeat . But of course ballet technique is good for her foundation so she is still learning. She is 6 this year.

Appreciate any recommendations for jazz dance classes.
My DD has been with them for >1year now. Teacher could get quite fierce but for good reasons, as they want the kids to do well. If you're a parent who cannot take your kid being scolded, i guess this might not be the best school for you.

Personally, i love their style of teaching, teachers are fierce but also VERY fun at the same time. They have trial class. If you have not already started. You should arrange for a class to find out and decide for yourself and your dd.

For video recording, about 6 months.

For the certificate, we waited 6 months. I even thought it was lost in the mails and checked with the teacher twice… but I read online that you can see the result online, after 6 weeks or so, some took 3 months. So it could depend largely on the dance academy you are with, and maybe only the teacher can see the results that’s online.

What do you think of extra ballet lessons at young age (5-10yo), my child is interested in taking the extra class but it will make it 3 ballet classes per week, including the coaching class. I do not wish for my child to be a professional ballerina but want to support her, even if it’s just a hobby for her.

My concern is, is 3 ballet classes per week doable in primary school years? Does primary school gives a lot of homeworks and other activities?

My child is taking Jazz class, but the school is very pushy on them taking the pre-modern exam. We have been "warned" that if we never take exam, then might need to be retained in the same level.

Isn’t exam and coaching classes an optional thingy?

How should children who are learning simply to develop an interest handle such schools? Any tips?
