MJ2009:
any idea about the latest model? TIAA vendor is coming to my DS school to sell PX2051 ($35) & PX2101 ($42) this thu. I'd think the latter is beta as it has 43k vocab and 16k illustrative sent compared to the former with only 36k & 12k...
if anyone has any feedback on e-dict or recommendation that is similar in pricing which your child/ren use in sch (and approved to be used for exam till PSLE), please advise, ya? Many thanks

U can ask the sale person to help u to check which outlet has stock.
I bought it from Popular. -

Yes it does. I have a CD668s at home too - it's a very good investment. My kids use them on a daily basis too.[/quote]Is this exam model?
Does this Besta CD668s come with Chinese-English and English-Chinese translation function?schweppes:

If you're planning to use the Besta at home, CD668s is very reliable...I use it a lot now...don't have to refer to dictionary anymore. It also has Collins dictionary (part of the package).
Also does it have an audio function where I can hear the sound of the word? My Mandarin's not too good, so need all the help I can get to help my dd.
Thanks
Thinking get a back up, but not sure if should get back what son using now as he is familiar with functions.
He is using this that I won many years ago. Is it sufficient?

Primary 5 and PSLE exam can use. only for comp
I cant remember whether it can be use on primary 4 or not.
The school will issue a sticker for the approval model e-dictionary.
Same as calculator.
Remember don't let your child deco the calculator especially cover the model name.
If the teacher cannot see the model name on the e-dictionary or calculator.
You might need to buy a new one.
That's what I was told by the principal before PSLE
