Dear Champion, now the authors of assessment know how to earn your money

      Hi SAHM,
Very soon, those authors will also want to earn your money. HaHaHa.
But honestly, this Science assessment is good...there is usual chapter as well as another 'higher order' one which has challenging questions.
I plan to get this title again when daughter goes to P3.

When I come across Science assessment which has questions set in different format although testing the same concept, I will fall prey too.

        Hi Janet! :hi5:

I was like wanting to :siam: e assessment books section whenever I am in Popular Bookstore πŸ˜‰

But now another \"good\" excuse coming up but \"come with a price\"!

Dd1 din score well for her CA2 - she told me, \"Mummy, teacher said must do more assessment books in order to improve!\" 🀷 :skeptical:

I really :stupid: for hearing such comments from the T

Don't be too hard on yourself. Easier said than done...as a working mum, you are really dedicated. I :salute: your dedication as well as other FTWM here. Not easy at all.

I am more excited getting a good assessment than anything from dept stores  Your daughter's teacher seems rather ON with the students. My son's Science teacher is not the type who tells the students to practice more.

Addiction to the assessment book section at Popular can be disastrous...Champion will agree with me on that... :rotflmao:
I'm avoiding Popular until end Nov :xedfingers:

:offtopic: that's why Popular has so many branches. I wonder is it listed?

I will have to enter to decide which I want to buy but the lack of 20% will help me from buying anything. πŸ˜‰

I believe Popular is listed...it's gone into property too.
The lack of 20% prevents me from buying books too...esp those which are not urgent. So I go to Popular close to the time 20% is offered...and snap up what I want. But I have to do 'homework' at home first to shortlist what I want...don't want to end up with backache.

                    Hi Champion,

For this CA2, the child's science teacher said that getting more than 80 marks is considered good effort.

After the English paper disappointment, my child surprised himself by exceeding his own expectations for his science paper (his weakest subject in CA1 and SA1). This round, we used Learning Science and SAP Process skills for preparation.

                        Hi SAHM_TAN,
For SA1, that teacher had expected 90 marks to be good effort.
It is good that the teacher had adjusted her expectations according to class performance/difficult of paper.
