Hi Champion,
Hi Brenda,Brenda10:
Hi Champion,
Not too worry as Science is something new to the P3 students. :hugs:
I check the record and noticed DD scored low band 2 in P3 but she has gradually improved to Band 1 in P4 and P5 once she get familiar with the subject.
So Jia You!!! :rahrah:
Thanks for the encouragement! :snuggles: :hugs:
DD1 was like,\" :scratchhead: Mummy, I think I might have made careless mistakes in the MCQ; I got full mark in Section B OE!\" She has a low band 2 and almost nearing to band 3 so was
She shared that she is weak in the topic \"Materials\" so told her to re-work on those assessment books with this topic...Mummy will help to print out past year papers and pick out those related questions for her
Full marks in Section B OE is very commendable performance!
My child scored full marks for Section A, but OE still have marks deducted despite me finding that his answers were complete. :? -

Hi Janet,Hi Mummies,
FYI...The 'Challenging Science' upper block by Janet Sim is out.
Couldn't find the cover in EPH nor Popular website...but Champion uploaded the Lower Block earlier...another assessment book somewhat similar to FAQ. http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=19568&start=860
Was at Popular IMM last night...taking a stroll after dinner.
Your legs carried you into Popular IMM again?
janet_lee88:
Guess for Science Assessment, I should have enough till P4 next year since all are in the Lower Block! :evil:Nothing exciting...at least to me since there is no 20% discount. .
Am still waiting and hoping that there will be more comprehensive GUIDE BOOKS to supplement to the Ultimate Science Guide
:xedfingers:

I e-mailed DD1 Science T to ask for her opinion regarding the paper and all she replied me was,\" I will return them the paper in Term 4 so please go thru it with your child!\"
Not answering to my question but am asking me to be the checker! Anyway, I will still review the paper with my DD1 and work with her on the mistakes.

HI Champion,
My brain sent a signal to my legs to walk to Popular :rotflmao:
bcos I knew I would be able to walk out without buying anything :rahrah:
Without a 20% discount, I can definitely hold back all purchases.
As for guide books, I can't think of any more other than Ultimate Science. My son was given a SA2 paper as holiday homework. One of the OE questions was to state 2 differences between the nymph (young of cockroach) and the tadpole. The other question was also to state 2 differences of the life cycles of human and flowering plants.
I thought I ever saw those questions before :scratchhead: but suddenly I don't know where to find them. -

:scratchhead: :scratchhead: this question looks familiar :? :? Me too always have the same scenario above whenever I saw an OE question and I will start flipping through those assessment books!HI Champion,

I remember seeing those questions before but don't know where to find them when I need them :frustrated: Searched FAQ but not avail...in the end, went back to the trusty Ultimate Science.
Looks like I have to start sticking post-it flags to find the link...SA2 next month !!! -

My daughter forgot 2moro is start of 1 week holiday. I told her it's going to be a good break as son has camp from 2moro to Wed...so just left with 1 at home. Then she told me she is also a 'problem child'. Should have told her I'll pack her off for camp together with gor gor
