I uses Marshall Cavendish. I find it easier to read and I like the way the content is being laid out.

        Hi,

I'm starting this new thread for Science assessment books.
Maybe we can give each other some tips on what titles of assessment books are helpful. This way, we don't have to stand long hours at Popular to comb through the MANY MANY publications there.

I have this too and DD likes it because it's topical and she can be \"tested\" after she learns about the topic.

You just reminded me. I was so engrossed in Papers that I forgot to let DD do the Longman assessment.

              Hi Janet,

Kudos to you for starting this thread :celebrate:

Below are the assessment books that I have shared in the other thread am currently using with my P3 gal.
              http://postimage.org/image/uvacpvtw/
The only one that I find not so \"good\" is the Classroom Science Process Skill by Casco - find the notes are too brief and not \"in-depth\" enough for explanation wise. But the questions are quite challenging so I let my gal practises on the questions but doing her own Science notes by copying the facts from the other Assessment Books.

Hope to share more with other KiasuParents here 😄

I don't like Casco assessment books. I flipped through this assessment book and found that it's not bad. Questions are quite close to exam papers.

Yes, Yes, Janet!! Was e-mailing with my DD1's Science Teacher and she mentioned she using \"Science Process skills ( teachers@work) to stretch the pupils further\". :celebrate: So, my agenda for this evening after work will be going down to Popular to get hold of this book 😉 ....

I have this book under 5/6. I find it is useful for learning how to answer on open and end question.

My DD1 also facing problems on tackling open and end question - she lost marks in this session for those past years CA1 papers from school 😢 . So, I know where her weakness and is trying to help her.
