      Hi HappyH,

No worries. Made a mistake getting some Science titles, so I don't wish other mums to do the same...hope the authors doesn't come after me. I don't really fancy publishers like Fairfield, Success Planner for Science.
Thank you Janet. Thank you for sharing. :salute: I really learnt a lot of things thro' this thread.

        Mychildren:
Hi, Happyh, I personally don't like teachers production for science process skill, find that their answers too long winded. http://i42.tinypic.com/yidlg.jpg\">

I can't expect my p3 child to give such a long and detailed answers unless they memorise them.
Sorry, this should be written under science assessment topics. πŸ¦†

my boy improved his science a lot after getting him to read the Teachers@Work process skills; http://i39.tinypic.com/6f050k.jpg\">
so i think different books work for different kids?
        Hi,
:imsorry: but I move the above 2 posts from the Maths Assessment Books thread here as I find there might be some confusion over

        1) Teacher's Production http://teachersproduction.appsfly.com/_item?item_id=008005

        2) Teachers@work by SAP http://sapgrp.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=476_417_454_455&products_id=330

[so you can recommend good guidebooks here ah? πŸ˜‰

top sch papers answer sheet CMI (cannot make it).

In reply to jedamum on the above,
I used Ultimate Science guide as recommended by the parents here and 2010 top school papers.
            jedamum,
Your boy read the teachers@work's model answers or did the questions inside the assessment book which help him improve? If you do not let him see the answers behind, was he able to provide the answers like those on the answer sheet? If yes, I think he is awesome. Even I can't give an answer that long and sometimes also I don't understand the answers too. 🀷

:offtopic: My school asked us to buy this after the first term last year. I hope they will ask us to buy this year as well. I find it good. Just my personal opinion.

HAPPYH, which school your child is in?

is this book available at school bookshop? I was just wondering if I order online as the postal charges are flat rate of $3 for each order by website πŸ™‚

I would recommend i Science Enrichment p3/4 enrichment book. I bought too late only somewhere in September. Simple to understand and colourful too. Too bad they don't have similar ones for p5/6.

Did bought the My pals are here Science Booster but also ends up white elephant. More like an encyclopedia to me.

If find anything good after experimenting them on my kids, will post here. πŸ˜‰

They will send the circular after the school reopens or after the first term like last year, I think. I can update this thread when it is available in my school.
