I have yet to guide that orange colour MC PSLE Scieince gude that I mentioned previously - DH was so \"pantang\" said can only buy books after 十五 🆒
This is new to me... Have not heard of such \"patang\" thing before ;)[/quote]
      Champion,
Does your hubby gamble like play mahjong ? I went to popular from day 4 of CNY. Mum told me no buying of shoes during CNY...but didn't say cannot buy books... :rotflmao: my son facing PSLE this year, day 2 already back to school homework and revising for CA1.

I didn't buy assessment since I have more than enough to last me till June (at least) for my daughter. Parents with kids going to P6, PLEASE don't buy too many. For Science however, I am using both lower block as well as upper block...need to revise stuff like magnets, systems and cycles.

I am still using quite a bit of Science assessment books…as for Eng, just doing certain sections…and not all. On days when he doesn’t have much homework, I will ask him to do one whole practice paper with dessert served to him.

                  Dear all,

My DD brought a form last week to say that the external vendors are coming to school tomorrow to sell science magazines such as Adventure Box, Discovery Box, etc… According to the form, both Adventure box and Discovery box can be used by P3 kid (Adventure box - P2-P4; Discovery box - P3-P6).

I am already subscribing Young Scientist level 2.

Can anyone suggest/explain which one will be more appropriate for P3? Which one will be more interesting and the child can explore independently?

                  Thank you in advance.

                      Hi sista,

:salute: to your great effort and wish your DD all the best in this coming CA1.

My dd just took back her Science CA1 paper. The different now is we can leave it to her unlike in primary school we have to follow closely!

Hello sista Brenda! :snuggles: :hugs: How are you doing? Busy?
Thank you for the encouragement; this is the last minute work, If will to put it! DD1's has no much time after school for revision, lest so to do assessment books.

Just 🙏 :xedfingers: that she will be able to remember the concept and KEY WORDS for the Science paper on Thursday.

Yes! Yes! I am looking forwards to the day when I can leave it all to her to do her own revision just like your DD! :celebrate:
