But someone did tell me that CASCO science Q&A book for P3/P4/P5/P6 is quite informative (has detailed explanations). Any parent want to share their experience about this book?

I have the above at home but seldom used πŸ˜‚ I find this book has a lot more information and details. DD1 did read it initially when I first bought it and she read it more like a story book rather than used it as a guide book πŸ˜„ JMHO

Hi Champion I am using this book really good, my dd is starting cycles so I bought the P4 as well. If she have time then she grabs her favo.story book to read but not this one. so I am the one who reads for her

speaking of Casco bookshop at Towner Rd, I went there last yr. they have tution center as well. they sell ACE english/science assesments as well. but most of them are available in popular. you can get them from popular with discount. Its a small book shop with some stationary/gifts etc.

I have not bought CASCO assessment for english so far. I did buy the casco picture compo assessment book for chinese for P1 and P2. Was good for my DD as it has a sample compo and key words given for each topic.

Any other CASCO book worth buying for other subjects English/Maths/Mandarin?
My friend lent me her 30% discount voucher. Bought mainly English assessment for my younger one. The discount is not bad if you use casco since popular will never give you this much discount. But I don't buy casco for Chinese...limited selection. As for Math, I got that step by step.

Bought conquar sc p1/p2 for my ds2. He finished it in 3 days. Too simple N really is foundation. Don’t think will help in p3 Sc prep. but luckily I waited til sales to buy. For parents looking at p3 sc prep, I suggest janet sim box set n get a guide for Reading together n go library borrow kids books on related topics eg magnets, materials for leisure Reading.

              Hi Janet,
what about those who are going without a voucher? I went there last year, only those out-side the shop were on sale. but those books inside were at their marked price. so I felt bad because, atleast in pop for the card you'll get some discount.

                Hi Plum-cake,

Actually even with 30% discount, only those titles published by Casco will be having discount. Honestly, I really find Popular 20% (sometimes 25%) better. At least more variety of publishers. Don't think I will visit Casco retail outlet again.

I don't think Casco is agent for Ace. But Big Bookshop is.
It's very normal :rotflmao: to walk out of any bookshop with something.

                      good morning jedamum :snuggles: :hugs:
I did not get the Conquer Science1/2 for my P1 DD2 but get the following instead πŸ˜„

I like this book as it has a comprehensive spread of 50 exercises divided into the 5 main theme: Diversity, Systems, Cycle, Interactions and Energy  Another pointer is that if P1 DD2 does not understand a certain pointer or question, I will rob DD1 in and look in the question together πŸ˜‰ So, in one way or another, DD1 is revising her basic concept
