Was at popular and bought the EPH science exam booster notes by Carol Phua which dd chose. It is an easy read with lots more information included. It includes experiments with analysis, observation and explanation.

I personally dislike the \"Everything you need to know About Science\" because it is too 'cheem' for a child to read on her own.
Hubby insisted to take a look...the queue was so long and hardly moving.
That was about 6. After 10 min, we left the place. There was no proper queueing system at all. Kinda anticipated this but didn't expect it to be so bad. Tired shoppers had to sit on whatever they could to rest their feet. Wasted my trip there  this is for members and already so bad...it will be worst when opened to public.
If management had wanted to close down popular city sq store, it should have brought all the stuff to expo sale.

That title 'everything you need to know about science' is way too difficult for a child. Instead of stimulating interest, I think it is the opposite.

Yes, the notes will be a bit more challenging and in-depth for the child to read on her own. For myself, just my own opinion only ๐Ÿ˜‰ --- it is more like a reference book which I read up on my own and to help DD1's with certain questions which need further understanding and elaboration.

I was back from the sale. Queue 3.5 hr at the cashier. Some SAP books $1 - 3.

Basically assessment books and stationery 25% and story books 50% if you spend over $120/-.
By the way if you spend over $200, you can redeem a Barbie umbrella from the mall customer Service at level 2.

          Newuser,
Want to ask...if don't spend up to $120, are the assessment books any cheaper than those in store ( with standard popular 10% off). If not, then won't make a trip purposely as I have no intention to buy so many.

            Hi Champion,

Yes that's the one. I couldn't find the image yesterday on their web. May want to grab the upper block before they stop publishing it.

              Hi Chowon,
:hi5: my DD1 is using the lower block too. I have bought the upper block previously from a forummer in this ksp forum ๐Ÿ˜„ Think the cover is blue colour - if I remember correctly ๐Ÿ˜‰

For my DS, the carol phua notes are too much for him. He prefers to read http://books.justeducation.com/index.php/power-guide/power-guide-science-lb.html

Since i missed this members sale, I will wait for year end 20%.

Have some lower block assessment books to get for my daughter going to P3 next year. Going planning to get this title โ€˜exploring readingโ€™ (learners) for her to read. Itโ€™s not bad, and the words are not too difficult.
