Out of curiosity.

Which subject is your DC more confident to obtain A1?
And which subject is your DC less confident to obtain a pass?
I have not heard DS expressing confidence that he will get A1 for any particular subject , but I know he is less confident with doing well for chinese and AMaths πŸ˜“

How are your DC on the revision? Have they started to be on the ball already?

Made this loaf.. supposedly healthy and filling with sunflower, pumpkins ,walnuts & chia seeds. One loaf will typically last 2-3days... no need to think hard what to buy. Other days will be cakes, scones, boiled eggs, simple meat porridge with hot drinks.

Looks soooo good!

I tried making this sort of thing, and muffins etc, for my kids, but they said it's too \"solid\" for breakfast on school mornings as they eat at 6am. They only eat this type of thing when they can wake later. On school mornings, they mostly have 1 slice of wholemeal bread and milk.
yes, different kids have different likings. I have a friend who has to cook chinese breakfast for elder son, ang mo breakfast for 2nd son and 3rd kid gives her headaches as she doesnt like to eat breakfast. She did for many years and now that they are much older, she gave up and ask them to prepare their own breakfast, whatever they want or don't want.

Your DS in Sec 1? My DS eats breads (and cereals) like your DS until Sec 3. Then this year (Sec 4) he said those bread is no longer filling so by 8.30am he usually already hungry. He said he can't concentrate when he is hungry so he requested me to cook in the morning. So, now I cook beehoon, noodles, kway teow, horfun, macaroni, bee tai mak, yaki udon, fried rice, etc for breakfast. :faint: I can't imagine
wait for his puberty to end 😒

Yes he is in sec 1. Wah...u r very wei ta. I can't imagine waking up so early to cook breakfast like u do everyday. *faint*
Does he has snack break in school?

The recess is usually around 10 to 11.30am so he said he can't concentrate between 8.30am and recess time.

But I draw a line to his request. No cooking for breakfast during weekends. I also need my rest!
Does anyone own a Philips steam generator iron or any other brands of steam generator irons that's good? Pls recommend

I bought one a month ago! Was contemplating between Philips and Laurastar but decided on this due to price difference. In addition, there was a promotion and it came with a big ironing board which I find rather useful.

In terms of efficiency,

hubby's shirt per piece : 4 mins, usual 7mins
Hubby's trouser per piece : 2mins , usual 7-8 mins

I consider it the good buy of the year. πŸ™‚

Sleepy, sounds that you like to nua at home & hardly excercise? No good hor

Used to be quite enthu in exercise 3 +years ago (kickboxing, ABT, zumba, kpopx, circuit training) but I had to stop exercising totally due to knee pain. It was definitely exercise induced because once I stopped exercising, my knee pain δΈθ―θ€Œζ„ˆ. Exercising is creating more harm than benefits in my case.

However, I plan to restart my exercise regime. Slowly... one of my action items this year πŸ˜‰

Sleepy, I had bad knee pain (to the extent of not able to climb up steps from boat to jetty in Langakwi), I literally fell on the floor as my knee could not support me. Doctor advised not to run or do strenous exercise.I followed the instructions for a long time but felt lethargic not to exercise, so I went back on slow jog ( intially had some pain) to now able to complete 10km run without any knee pain at all. That was 3-4 years ago and I am already past 40  So ..got hope, don't give up πŸ˜„
Everybody's body is different but you can consider resume some exercise or will grow fat, you know

Guess all candidates have done the O level registration for the subjects that they are taking.

Good luck to everyone.

Just curious, do parents get involved in this part? I did not.
