      Hi cwc,

So the toddler is your BIL or SILโ€™s son ?
Not in your position, but can understand how frustrating it can be. If want to allow eating in the room, do it in your own house lah. I scream when I see my kids bringing cups into the roomโ€ฆeven though it may be water, but if break the cup, have to vacuum and mop or else get cut.

i have seen some grandmums who are obviously above 60+ and yet has coloured hair (mind you, bright orange yellowish reddish), full make up, permed hair, bright red/orange lipsticks and wearing the loudest colour dresses and high heels. :salute: them because they bother to make an effort to look nice (sometimes in their opinion) and didnt limit themselves to dull coloured clothes like t-shirt, blouse and pants as many ladies their age do.

as i am always in t-shirt and jeans, hope to change my wardrobe cos i dont want to be wearing t-shirt and jeans when i am in my sixties. ๐Ÿ˜ข

we should open a thread on how to age gracefully ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope to age like The GOLDEN GIRLS.

Anyway, I understand hubby's parents returning this morn...well, they will be spending the next few weeks adjusting. No chance of them ever going to San Francisco again.
Don't know what nonsense they will be up to after returning. Anyway, I couldn't be bothered at least not for next 1 month.

I dread the day tooโ€ฆeven though I donโ€™t really bother much about them, but with them back here, it means they will produce some noise sooner or later.

In order to age gracefully, I must adopt a modern mindset when I become a MIL. Keep myself busy so as not to develop dementia too fast and donโ€™t involve in childrenโ€™s affairs.

My parents don't really spoil the kids but will scold them when they are naughty...they don't side when discipline is enforced.

                        Hi cwc,
2 of them cause enough problems...another maid added on means 3 sets of PROBLEMS. :?:
