Same situation. This is where made me very pissed off :mad:

There was one unforgettable incident tat i will remember forever. This incident happened when i was juz dating my hb.

My MIL passed me a scarf claimed tat she bought for me. Although the scarf didn't seems to be nice but aapreciate her thought. However I overheard my MIL n her daughter's conversation but in their direct which i can understand. Her daughter mentioned tat how can my MIL gave this scarf to me where somebody gave it to her as gift n it looked very ugly. My MIL yet replied tat she knew it but it's a waste to throw away. At tat moment, i was really very disappointed n feeling like kan-na-guni.

This is not her first time of doing this.

My MIL didn’t help me during my confinement even we stayed quite near to each other. Luckily, I hired confinement auntie to help me during the first mth.

My MIL helped me once for market-ing but complained tat why I ate so much fish n thread fin quite ex. But all these expenses were paid by my hb. However she bought 1 kg of thread fin for her daughter’s confinement. Very extreme, right?

She came to visit me once n full of complaining abt the confinement auntie n me. This is also the reason of why I quite reluctantly to let hecoma me to my place during my maternity. Anyway she claimed tat she cannot handle baby who is 8 mth n below.

I hired confinement lady cos me and DH didn't want to tire her out, even when she was staying for us during second confinement. But she does the marketing

MIL did try to help as DS is the first grandson. But I got my mom to be my confinement lady, so MIL just guest appearance. She did get me lotsa pork & chicken :faint: but endup pissed me off with her comments. Not a meat person, I dun consume a lot and she would claimed who & who ate 1 whole chicken in a day during confinement while I would take >3 days.
And during DS's feeding time, MIL would hissed that I'm starving the grandson & tried to stop me from breastfeed claiming my milk lousy cos' I dun have enough nutrition :mad:
