In-law problems?

Hubby used to go for exercise on Sundays…not anymore bcos he has to buy breakfast for them. I can’t say anything…and since I don’t have to put up with them, I don’t care.

my mum also doesn't call me often. She is very \"zhi tong\",she won't call me during exam/test period.My MIL is bo zhi tong.....she doesn't give people opportunity to call back...she'll call until u pick up...once i've had 12 missed calls from her
The only time when I had a lot of missed calls was my bad mistake: forgot to bring handphone when went out of office, and DS was having fever at childcare and DW was in China...
ended up childcare called numerous times, DW called numerous times, my parents called numerous times... -

my mother had never called me or talked to me much, so i'm actually really surprised to hear such things... But i guess the bond must be quite good to warrant such contacts, and sadly i'm maybe not so close to my mother...
if the mother has more things to do, maybe she will not have so much time to make such calls.
and if there are other siblings, can maybe ask them to help to tell the mother to cut down on such calls, and the duration of each call - if it is not so easy to tell her directly.
if happened to me, i'll tell her straight too busy to talk... -

my dh forever won't reject her call.....also will not tell her that he is busy...my dh is best frd to Bud's dh=submissive son :imcool: -
my dh has this problem…he doesn’t know how to prioritize.He must answer every calls.He doesn’t know how to be assertive…
i don’t know how to teach him…he just couldn’t get it -

Yes,their bonds r very closed....MIL treats him like daughter.He doesn't hv mind on his own....
