I bought too. When I printed out the vouchers, I realised the fine print indicated that the $5 is excluding tax and GST.

So far, the vouchers I've purchased from Groupon include the DIY cake, hair spa, Ruyi meals and etc. Those on restaurant deals are fuss free and worth a buy. Don't think I'll get those on travel deals and facials & massage. It understand it is not easy to book an appointment for facialss/massage. Time slots available for Groupon members are not so good.
