\" The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. \"

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OUR MUMMIES & MUMMIES TO BE HERE, EVEN FOR OUR DADDIES WHO PLAYED BOTH ROLES.

          SAHM_TAN:
          A Child Learns

If a child lives with criticism,
          he learns to condemn.

If a child lives with hostility,
          he learns to fight.

If a child lives with ridicule,
          he learns to be shy.

If a child lives with shame,
          he learns to feel guilty.

If a child lives with tolerance,
          he learns to be patient.

If a child lives with encouragement,
          he learns confidence.

If a child lives with praise,
          he learns to appreciate.

If a child lives with fairness,
          he learns justice.

If a child lives with security,
          he learns to have faith.

If a child lives with approval,
          he learns to like himself.

If a child lives with acceptance, and friendship,
he learns to find love in the world.

          Timely reminder ... :hi5:

Oh no! Looks like the election has overshadowed Mother's Day! I almost forgot tomorrow is Mother's Day (8 May 2011).

For all mothers in the world, you're the best.
For those who don't know this is so, you are not from this world.

            Happy Mother's Day!!!
:thankyou: chief, you are funny.....

My 2 girls rushed into the room this morning to wake me up... not with a \"Happy Mother's Day\" greeting and hug but a \"So, who won the election at Aljunied GRC?\" :skeptical: :spank: :faint:

Well, I take comfort that they are at least interested in what's happening around them and not so self-absorbed

Happy Mommy Day to all mommies here. May we continue to have a sense of humour, keep our sanity and maintain our vanity :hugs:
