RE: Ergonomic Furniture
janice_0950:
We got a set from Ergoworks when son was in P5. 2 yrs on we find that it's gd as he has grown much taller these 2 yrs, hence the height adjustability feature of the table is useful. Though he could adjust the chair height, the tilted table, I feel, also helps in relieving neck fatigue. These Ergonomics tables & chairs are costly:(
However, I would like to check with you all parents. Does it help for our lovely darling?
However, I would like to get a set of Table & Chair too.........:P(
We got the TD1222, Junior Ergo Workstation with a Duorest ergo chair ( the chair is an upgrade fm their promo set) for abt $1500. -

Thanks, I think I get a bit of the rationale now .... my Chemistry is only up to sec 2 std many moons ago.
This is what we do during distillation in chemistry experiment. We add boiling chips to stabilise the boiling process. So likewise, the metal spoon stabilises the boiling so the liquid won't boil over.QuiteKSMum:
2) Put a metal spoon into the boiling liquid ( soup, water etc) - if it boils & you're not ard to keep an eye, it won't boil over. ( saw this on the Jap TV prog on tips on Tues - personally tried & tested, works!)
Cheers!

My England is so-so only .... In my case, quite means fairly; not very; to some extent. (Oxford Advanced Learners's Dictionary)QuiteKSMum:
 that's our major difference : you're Funx3 & I'm QuiteKSMum ( actually shd be VKSMum but this yr I mellowed a little alrdy, so Quite is appropriate, I think) ...

according to dictionary.com, 'quite' means wholly, entirely, really, truly
