now after the election, a few things have happened :

        1. a few of them are (hopefully) repenting from what they said during campaigning

        2. MP drinking water from the water tank of Blk 686B Woodland

        3. MP standing at bus stops counting buses and noting their arrival frequencies

        4. Minister taking bus to work

        5. ministerial pay must reflect public service and element of sacrifice, and no longer a career but a calling, no longer must be pegged to the top of the range of the top paying profession because Whichever Party has proven that public service does not require multi-million salary

I think we might have been sleeping passengers with sleeping driver and sleeping bus conductor…like those on north south highway ?

actually, the picture shows him reading Today papers (advertising?) on the bus. So it can't be that crowded...I don't think he took bus to work. Sorry if I offend, but he really should try the bus service near some army camp during evening peak hours....and see if aircon buses are really the way to go. was thinking little india during weekends...but I fear I'm treading on thin ice.

For me, I'm simple. If ministers really go to the ground to understand what SGeans are experiencing (sans entourage to clear and pretty the way), and take action to make it better, by all means, pay them well. Just don't talk from ivory tower can already.

I probably very ‘kiam pa’, but how about the Health Minister go to Polyclinic to see doctor…join the queue one hor. And then attempt to get an appointment to see specialist…see how long the wait can be.

Hi augmum. I also watch what James Ang had posted. Looking at the recent return SA1 Maths paper, I must say that quite a number of question we also unable to solve or require a much longer time than them lah.
